Consumption during pregnancy and lactation:
• FDA Pregnancy Category C.
. It is not known whether topical corticosteroids are distributed into breast milk.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Common side effects :
Systemic side effects:
Hyperglycemia, glycosuria and HPA axis suppression, cushing's syndrome.
• Local side effects:
Allergic contact dermatitis ( burning, itching, redness, stinging and thinning of the skin ), acne, pustules,
purpura , changes in skin pigmentation, infection.
